Joseph Yiu Managing Director

Joe was formerly a Managing Director at The Norseman Group, a mezzanine lender in the single tenant marketplace. At Norseman, he was responsible for the company's origination efforts. In his capacity of working on over $750 million of single-tenant transactions, Joe positioned Norseman not only as a leading mezzanine lender in the net lease market, but also as an advisor in valuing net-leased properties for sale as well as structuring sale-leaseback financings for corporations. Prior to joining Norseman in 2003, Joe was an Associate Director at Polestar Capital Group, a specialty finance company, and before that, an Analyst at an opportunity fund at Credit Suisse. Joe holds a B.S. in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a member of a Quaker football team that captured the Ivy League Championship. Joe is a member of the editorial board of Briefings in Real Estate Finance and has been published in the Journal of Corporate Real Estate.

Christopher C. Bitting Managing Director

Chris spent 8 years working in institutional fixed income sales as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Structured Products Sales Group.  While in the New York and subsequently Chicago offices of Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bitting focused on securitized, mortgage-related products including CMBS, ABS, and CRE CDO’s.  Mr. Bitting also worked in real estate related specialty finance for Flagstone Securities, a boutique investment bank in St. Louis.  He completed numerous public and private capital offerings in the mREIT sector, in addition to placement of structured finance products.  Mr. Bitting holds a BA from Brown University with a dual concentration in German and International Relations, and an MBA from Washington University’s John M. Olin School of Business in St. Louis.

Paulus Ingram Vice President

Paulus joined Jay Street Capital soon after its formation. In 2002, Paulus formed a residential brokerage firm in Manhattan catering to the high end buyer. That firm, RES, has increased revenues in every year of its operation and now employs 10 agents. Prior to starting RES, Paulus worked for D.E. Shaw, a $25 billion multi-strategy global hedge fund. Paulus is a member of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs, the Urban Land Institute, and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Paulus is a registered commercial and residential broker in New York and a graduate of Amherst College.
